02 Epsilon Level:[break] Epsilon level mutants either have a non-combative power or no real powers at all, but are like Gamma level mutants in that they cannot hide what they are. These level mutants are the easiest for G.A.M.A. to find and overpower. Most of them are stuck inside cells of the G.A.M.A institute. Though a few are still hidden in the subway tunnels, helping set traps for those that wander where they shouldn't.[break][break] Delta Level:[break] Delta Level mutants are those who, like Alphas and Betas, can pass for human at first glance. But unlike Alphas or Betas, their power is not something that is obvious and automatically combative. Their abilities are more subtle, enough so that an outside observer can't actually see the power in use. Delta mutants may go for years not realizing that they are, in fact, mutants, due to the nature of their abilities.[break][break] Gamma Level:[break] Like Alphas and Betas, Gamma level mutants are pretty handy in combat situations. But as a result of their Mute-gene, they cannot pass for human without the use of a disguise of some sort.[break][break] Beta Level:[break] Beta level mutants are just like Alphas, but with a catch. While at first glance they can pass for a human being, careful scrutiny reveals they have some strange trait that sets them apart, like an eye color that doesn't generally appear in humans. A Beta mutant can also be someone who passes for humans but has some limitations imposed on them because of their power, such as not being able to make skin-to-skin contact.[break][break] Alpha Level:[break] An Alpha level mutant is someone who looks no different from any other human being, and whose powers are pretty effective in combat. Likewise, they have no limitation placed on them as a result of their Mute-gene. They can do and interact as a normal human could.[break][break] Omega Level:[break] These are the people who truly make normal human beings and government agencies afraid. Five years ago, a large meteor crashed in central New York. No one knows how the government didn't know. They didn't see how they couldn't. The thing took up a whole city block. Dust and debris everywhere, people screaming, crying, looking for loved ones. A lot of people had died...others suffered severe injuries. Some even got extremely sick, though no one knew how or why.
A year after, people began getting extremely sick. No one knew what the cause of this illness was. Doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to figure it out. Many stayed in the hospital for months, others it was less. And some...never made it out. Those that did began to experience anomalies around themselves. Though that was always true. Even some that got sick never experienced anything at all.
Now, children and adult alike are being hunted for their abilities. G.A.M.A is searching for a "cure-all" to "save" those unfortunate to suffer from this change to their DNA. The meteor is contained under a dome of re-enforced frosted glass.
