Five years ago, a large meteor crashed in central New York. No one knows how the government didn't know. They didn't see how they couldn't. The thing took up a whole city block. Dust and debris everywhere, people screaming, crying, looking for loved ones. A lot of people had died...others suffered severe injuries. Some even got extremely sick, though no one knew how or why.
A year after, people began getting extremely sick. No one knew what the cause of this illness was. Doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to figure it out. Many stayed in the hospital for months, others it was less. And some...never made it out. Those that did began to experience anomalies around themselves. Though that was always true. Even some that got sick never experienced anything at all.
Now, children and adult alike are being hunted for their abilities. G.A.M.A is searching for a "cure-all" to "save" those unfortunate to suffer from this change to their DNA. The meteor is contained under a dome of re-enforced frosted glass.

PERSONALITY
Strengths: Gentle, affectionate, curious, adaptable, ability to learn quickly and exchange ideas
Weaknesses: Nervous, inconsistent, indecisive
Likes: Music, books, magazines, chats with nearly anyone, short trips around the town
Dislikes: Being alone, being confined, repetition and routine
Expressive and quick-witted, Kemper represents two different personalities in one and you will never be sure which one you will face. She is sociable, communicative and ready for fun, with a tendency to suddenly get serious, thoughtful and restless. She is fascinated with the world itself, extremely curious, with a constant feeling that there is not enough time to experience everything she wants to see. Kemper has a constant feeling that her other half is missing, so she is forever seeking new friends, mentors, colleagues, and people to talk to.
Kemper's changeable and open mind makes her an excellent artist and her skills and flexibility make her shine in trade, driving and team sports. Kemper is a versatile, inquisitive, fun loving person, born with a wish to experience everything there is out there in the world. This makes her character inspiring, and never boring.
NAME OF POWER
Healing Touch
DESCRIPTION OF POWER
Strengths: Kemper can restore biotic organisms to their optimal health, curing damaged or withered organisms, wounds, broken bones, low vitality, and diseases/poisoning. Though she can potentially heal any form of bodily damage, the patient must be alive, even if hanging by a thin thread, in order to be healed; once the patient has died, it would transcend healing and would require resurrection instead. At her level right now she would be known as an Expert Healer. She can heal fractured/broken bones, deep burns, lost limbs can be reattached if they have them nearby. Minor damage done to internal organs can be instantly repaired. If the damage is worse then it can take much more time to heal those wounds, and there could be nerve damage still from all that.
Weaknesses: Her healing is useless against someone that has the power of Irreversible Destruction. She cannot raise the dead with her healing powers, only those with resurrection can do that. Sometimes her healing hasn’t always stuck to someone, like with a cut off limb, she can reattach it but if not seen by a doctor right away it could be lost again. She can heal a few fatal wounds, but the more fatal they are, the more energy and time that is needed to spend on the wound. She has to be able to touch someone to heal them, just a simple touch of hands, but she has to be knowingly doing it otherwise it doesn’t “activate”. There was only one time that she had to spend more than a day on someone’s injuries...it almost killed her. The effects of the drawback was almost as if she had radiation poisoning.

HISTORY
Kemper since she could remember had been a blot on her father's life. Her parents had been older when they had her. Her father never gave her attention, and her mother was too busy being a socialite in fundraisers and parties. Though, when she started dating, she had her father's bodyguards following her to school. But that never stopped her from sneaking away in the busy halls and meeting up with random guys. Sadly, with almost every guy she had been with, she had become pregnant. Her father forced her to planned parenting and had forced her to abort every child she would've had.
This went further into her adulthood until she found solice in escaping to college. Though that didn't mean her father would actually stop bothering her and interfering with her love life. Eventually, she got her certification and started as a nurses assistant while going to school to become an actual nurse. Sadly, this was interrupted when the meteor had hit. She had gotten very ill. Her whole body covered in sores and boils as her lungs had filled with liquid and she coughed up blood.
Though almost eight months later, she found her skin peeling from her. The pain was gone, no more tasting iron. Though her green eyes turned more hazel, and her hair went from a dark auburn/red to a light ginger. She went back to school slowly catching up with what she had missed for those months.
